Its extraordinary architecture attracts many visitors to the spa park every year.
The Kurmittelhaus, built in the baroque Art Nouveau style, is considered one of the most beautiful half-timbered buildings in the region.
The picturesque half-timbered group with curved gables and roofs was built in 1910/11 to plans by the Freiburg architect Robert Mühlbach with the collaboration of Alexander Ackermann.
Today, the building houses the brine drinking cure in the Brunnenhalle with the three mineral springs.
The spa center, which also houses a café, is open all year round.
The building ensemble and the spa park have been declared a monument zone by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
MTB riders can relax here on the promenade after a side trip to the BK forest and enjoy the spectacular views.
