Always worth a visit and very interesting. When the weather is nice, there is a wide view of the Black Forest and Switzerland.

A beautiful castle ruin, built in the years 1125-1141, destroyed in 1634 by the imperial troops, 1933-1936 used for castle festivals of Nazi propaganda and meanwhile owned by the district of Waldshut from 1978. Beautiful all-round view to Switzerland (Bad Zurzach ), in sunny weather with various opportunities for a picnic or barbecue event. Various restaurants in the area invite you to a cozy get-together and sweeten the excursion on foot, bike or convertible.
