The “Doctor Bridge”
A suitable starting point into Billetal is the “Doktorbrücke”. From the A24 via the
You reach Ohe at the Witzhave exit, where you turn left into “Sachsenwaldau” in the village.
Turn in and drive to the second parking lot. From here you can quickly get to the bridge
and the Bille hiking trail. To the south you reach the Fürstenbrücke (first parking lot in town). Here you can take the “Fürstenweg” to the left to turn around

The fairytale Billetal with its mystical riparian forests runs along the western side of the Sachsenwald. The Bille draws its loops as a crystal-clear cold-water stream with wild bank vegetation.
