The northern ascent from Caldonazzo covers a total of 780 meters of elevation gain over 10.4 km. The narrow, steep road is in excellent condition and offers impressive views of the Valsugana valley. The gradient is consistently above 10% for 8 km, with peaks between 15 and 18%.
