The ASS Altenburger playing card factory is based in the Skat city of Altenburg in Thuringia. Card production has a 500-year tradition here. The card game Skat was also invented here in 1820. In addition to playing cards such as Skat, Poker, Quartetts, board games such as Domino are also manufactured in the city.
