South of the village Beuerbach is the small recreational lake of the place. Here a nearly five kilometers forest nature trail was created, which leads along the lake and through the beautiful Schornbachtal. On the way there are countless information boards, unfortunately partly already quite weathered, and so the round becomes an informative and entertaining thing.

The Beuerbacher See, a reservoir, which is also called the Beuerbacher recreational lake or Schornbach reservoir, is located in the Hintertaunus between the villages of Beuerbach, Bechtheim and Wallrabenstein. The lake is 170 meters long and 150 meters wide. The tributaries of the lake are the Schornbach and the Klingelbach. The drain is again the Schornbach.
Bathing, boats, air mattresses and model boats are not allowed. The immediate vicinity of the lake is all the more attractive for nature lovers, nature photographers, walkers and families. The flat circular path from the parking lot around the lake along the lake shore is also suitable for prams. Many benches invite you to rest.
