La Lanca Ayala is a natural area and a marina located along the course of the Ticino river, in the municipality of Vigevano, near the hamlet of Sforzesca. Originally, the area was used as a quarry for the extraction of river aggregates. After the plant was decommissioned in the 1980s, the area was re-naturalized. Today it is protected within the Parco del Ticino.
