Hiking

The “Usser Rhihalden” dry site is one of three cantonal nature reserves in Dachsen. It encompasses the forested, 1.25 km long and 30-50 m wide Rhine slope from the municipal boundary to Uhwiesen to below the bathing area in the Bachdelle. The Rheinhalde is a warm, very dry and nutrient-poor habitat that is populated by a special flora.
