The sandy beach near Mužla (near Štúrovo in southern Slovakia) is a real insider tip for nature lovers who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of classic outdoor pools. It is considered one of the most beautiful natural sections on the Slovak bank of the Danube. In contrast to many stony sections of the Danube, here, at low water levels, you will find wide areas with fine sand, which gives the place an almost Mediterranean flair ("Danube Riviera").
