The Fochteloërveen is ideal for a quiet walk. This vast peat park is a quiet area. The Netherlands does have more of these types of quiet areas, in which it is of course not necessarily very quiet. In the environmental protection areas, it is mainly the sound of flora and fauna that predominates.
