Our wild and romantic town of Beilstein is framed by two streams that find their way from the Hunsrück heights into the Moselle.

Regarded by many Moselle guests as the most beautiful and romantic Moselle town, a tour through the narrow streets and corners of Beilstein quickly shows why the town has served as a film set for numerous feature films.

The old town - previously enclosed by the city wall, which was built in 1310 - still gives us an insight into a medieval city through numerous historical buildings. Particularly worth seeing are the picturesque market square from 1322 with the former tithe house, the former parish church of St. Christophorus and the old princely cellar from the 18th century.

Beilstein lived from viticulture for centuries. The best known locations are the Silberberg and the Schlossberg.
