  • The Reedham Ferry is a chain-pulled ferry that crosses the River Yare. It is operational from 6.30am-8pm Monday to Friday and 8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday. The service runs continuously on demand and you do not need to book ahead. For more information, visit: reedhamferry.co.uk/chain-ferry.

  • Reedham was a coastal village which included a Roman lighthouse, before the draining of the marshes towards Great Yarmouth. Fragments of Roman brick and stone can be found in the local church.

  • Great place to cross the river Yare. Also pub with food. Riding from Norwich or Gt Yarmouth you can have a great ride using the ferry as the only river crossing place. Some lovely lanes between Reedham and Brundall with great views at Buckenham
