Reedham was a coastal village which included a Roman lighthouse, before the draining of the marshes towards Great Yarmouth. Fragments of Roman brick and stone can be found in the local church.

Great place to cross the river Yare. Also pub with food. Riding from Norwich or Gt Yarmouth you can have a great ride using the ferry as the only river crossing place. Some lovely lanes between Reedham and Brundall with great views at Buckenham
