First you take the Jasper SkyTram gondola, which takes you from the Lower Station (1304 meters altitude) to the Upper Station at 2277 meters altitude. Up here you have a fantastic view over the Jasper National Park. You also start from here a short and steep hike to the top of Whistlers Mountain. Unfortunately you rarely get to see wildlife, with a bit of luck you can see a mountain goat and with luck you will see a bear who has lost his way to these heights. In good weather you can even see Mount Robson in the distance, Mt. Robson is the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies with 3954 m. In the other direction is the Angels Glacier, whose icy wings can still be seen.

If you like it a bit sportier, you will not take the Jasper SkyTram. We are from the trail parking lot from the Whistler Trail up to the summit plateau. Up here you have a brilliant view of the valley. From here, Jasper looks like a big J.
