Mountain biking

For the year 954 AD Roßtal is first mentioned as urbs horsadal. The monk Widukind of Corvey reported about it in his history of Saxony. On June 17, 954 a fierce battle took place around this place. King Otto I tried in vain to take the urbs horsadal. At over 5,2 hectares, it was one of the most powerful fortifications of its time. Horsadal was the military, political, ecclesiastical and economic center of our region.
