From the Mühldorf Inn area we went towards Ecksberg and on towards Ebinger Alm. There was a gap to close on the hike along the Inn.

The path was initially quite easy to walk on, but shortly after Mühldorf the trail through the autumn forest began with still tall bushes and blackberries along the way. The root trail began from Ecksberg. Good footwear is important here, otherwise your feet may be wet.

Some places are secured with ropes to avoid slipping on the slope. It is also very helpful over small streams, where the tree trunks laid over them appear a bit rotten. Since there is the Inn on the left and a wooded slope with a small stream on the right, we only went up the slope shortly before the Ebinger Alm. On the tar road up on the slope we went comfortably past Ecksberg and Altmühldorf back to Mühldorf.
