When you get up there, there really is nothing better than a cool shandy or a spritzer, accompanied by delicious food to strengthen yourself. The service is very nice and the view is breathtaking. Then there is the background noise of the grazing cows - that completes the relaxation. It's wonderful to take a break there - again and again!

So great is this beautiful tour again, if you continue from the Enning Alm and on the trail down to the Graswangtal leaves. But beware, nothing for beginners, the descent is narrow at the top and with hairpin bends. From Graswang you can get back to the starting point via Ettal (drive down the old Ettaler Pass). A day-filling, challenging tour!

Here is probably one of the best Kaiserschmarrn in the Prealps. Unfortunately, the Alm is only managed, as long as the cattle is up. So urgently inform in advance, if it is open.

Absolute highlight, quite remote in the midst of the most beautiful mountain landscape. Plus great hospitality!

Very nice service and delicious food! Add to that the class view, in my opinion one of the nicest places to rest in the area

Served Alm with great views and delicious food. Popular destination for MTB riders. It can get crowded in the summer and in good weather.

The trail is just fantastic, but also very demanding.
    Not suitable for everyone.

Top Alm - particularly popular with bikers due to its secluded location. Very great local and hearty food and very, very nice operators.
This alp is worth a day trip destination !!

A very beautiful mountain pasture, the driveway is long and exhausting. Kaiserschmarren is a tasty tip on the side, which compensates for the agony :-)

A great destination for young and old. For bikers and hikers. Here it turns out that it works together.

Amazing route, steep climb 10k, the downhill is fun if dry. High speed Gravel run not so easy on eMTB due to additional weight, so brake early! I was so ecstatic (and exhausted) with my run I smiled all the Home!

A slightly less busy hut. Enjoy your meal. Very nice landlady.
On the 12th of September 2018 the hut was closed for this summer.

Enningalm (1544 m)The Enningalm is located in a quiet corner of the Ammergau Alps
The Enningalm near Garmisch is located in a very remote and quiet area of the Ammergau Alps. We framed the Alm by the Hirschbichel in the south and by the Vorderen Feldernkopf in the northeast. The climb to the Enningalm is quite long and you will only meet a manageable number of hikers on the way. The Alm is particularly popular with mountain bikers who cycle up from the lake to the rustic hut. During the long crossing over the Brünstlkreuz, the Brünstelkopf and the Vorderen Feldernkopf, the Enningalm is a welcome resting place to recharge your batteries. The Stepbergalm can be reached in an hour from the Enningalm via the Hirschbichel ridge. Snacks and drinks are served on the cozy Alm. It is open from mid-June to mid-September. An overnight stay is not possible on the Enningalm.
