Our Evangelical Church was inaugurated on the 1st of Advent in 1954. The well-known glass artist Friedrich von Stockhausen succeeded wonderfully in expressing the feelings and desires of the evangelical church planters. They had just washed their troubled water into our region as refugees and displaced persons in the early 1950s. With the new church on the 1st of Advent in 1954, it was all about hope for a church people who, with the loss of their homeland and all their belongings, had to pay the sins of a difficult time particularly hard.
