The tower impresses with its interesting architecture made of rust-red Corten steel. The building stands for the change in the region from mining to a new future. With a height of 30 meters, the observation deck offers an impressive panoramic view of the vast lake landscape. At the foot of the tower there is a small kiosk with seating and toilets.

The observation tower on Lake Sedlitz, made of Corten steel, rises 30 meters. The rust-red patina is reminiscent of the industrial history of the Lusatian Lakeland and of steel mining equipment. Since the inauguration of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) Fürst-Pückler-Land project in 2008, the steel giant has been a popular excursion destination and a striking stopping point for cyclists, skaters and bus groups. Its viewing platform offers a panorama over the Lusatian Lakeland, especially over the Sedlitz, Geierswalder and Partwitzer lakes
