Historic Stone Bridge of Pfünz

First mentioned in a document in 1432
1800 partially blown up during the war against Napoleon
Reconstruction in 1822 and in operation until a modern bridge was rebuilt in 1978

The old four-bay arched bridge over the Altmühl near Pfünz is considered one of the most important historical stone bridges in Bavaria. It was probably built in the 15th century.

This beautiful old bridge fits perfectly into the landscape and is a real gem.
