Nice view of the fjord from here.
Ringkøbing Fjord is the largest and one of the most beautiful fjords in West Jutland, at around 300 km2. It is a shallow, brackish water fjord surrounded by large salt marshes, particularly on Tipperne and Værneengene.
The fjord was and is the basis of life for birds, fish and people and it is still one of the most important bird sanctuaries. Therefore, large parts of the areas in and around the fjord are under nature protection.
Fishing in Ringkøbing Fjord has been the main source of income for many families for generations. Today it is no longer, but there are still anglers who take advantage of the fjord and the surrounding area every day.hvidesande.dk/de/ringkobing-fjord-gdk763061
