First summit of the hike, magnificent view of Lac à l'Écluse and the surrounding peaks. You can easily see the next two summits of the route, the Sommet des Grives and the Pic Des Aigles. It's always very nice to be able to see all the peaks on a hike!

For those who would like to lighten the course, it is quite possible to start directly from the lake at the Lock to make this summit, it then becomes a relatively easy and short hike.
