From this place, in addition to the panorama of Gdańsk (from each side), we have a view of the nearby Stone Sluice and four turrets situated on stone bulkheads. They are called "the four virgins" because of, as it is said, their inaccessibility. In the distant past, their task was to prevent the passage of the bulkheads and the invasion of the city by enemy troops besieging Gdańsk.
