The heart of the Lech Valley between Landsberg and Schongau is the Lech Park "Pössinger Au". The forest area is south of the city on the east bank. The landscape protection area with a wonderful forest, meadow and meadow landscape offers a home to many animals and plants that have become rare.

In the wildlife park there is a nature trail with information boards, a wild boar enclosure, fallow deer feeding, a Kneipp pool with barefoot path and pavilion, a water playground and many lawns for playing and sunbathing. At the tables of the snack places you can take a wonderful break and enjoy nature.

The Teufelsschlucht invites you to an exciting tour of discovery. A stairway goes uphill to the Teufelsloch and leads back through the forest. Here you can admire the turquoise water of the reservoir.

A nice place to stop is the "Teufelskueche" inn, next to the gorge of the same name.
