The lavender festival takes place in Valensole in early July. We recommend coming a couple of weeks before, to be able to admire the lavanza in its splendor (more saturated colours).
Circular tour, starting from the Vinon sur Verdon bridge. The route is quite easy, except for a steep stony slope of about 250 meters where you have to push the bike trying to advance on the crumbling pebbles. The route is almost entirely away from traffic, along quiet streets. Excellent dirt roads.
