    Of course, the cactus cannot jump on its own. But if you stroll trough field of Cholla cacti, you will find yourself with some of its spiny balls in your calves or legs, even though you don't touch the cactus. This is because those are lying on the ground and you kick them while hiking, causing them to stick in your skin.
