Have you always wanted to know how Heidi lived? Then you've come to the right place: Heidi Village in Maienfeld, the original setting of the world-famous Heidi story. This peaceful hamlet is home to the original Heidi House, the house furnished as it was in Heidi's time, Heidi's Alpine Hut, a replica of Alpöhi's loving home, and Johanna Spyri's Heidi World exhibition. Heidi's animals await you in the village, and the village shop, which sells souvenirs, features the smallest post office in Switzerland, complete with the Heidi Village special postmark.
