The Gianpace refuge is a beautiful refuge located at an altitude of 1,330 meters along the Sanguigno valley. It can be reached with a pleasant walk from Valgoglio. The refuge is private and you need to book for an overnight stay, while for lunch or short breaks it is always open in summer, quite crowded on weekends. Both paths that start from the refuge and develop along the banks of the Sanguigno stream are beautiful.
