Monte Pitoro is a climb that leads to a lot of fantastic places. It can be climbed from Stiava (short but steep ascent) or from Massarosa (long and not very steep), or even from Lucca (very long and very slightly sloping). Wherever you go up you will find yourself a lot of possibilities, you can visit Luciano and Pieva in Elici, Montigiano, Gualdo, the town of fairy tales, go and see the splendid view from Montemagno, or go further by going to Gombitelli. Absolutely recommended!
