Schleißheim Palace and Southern Canal

Schleißheim Palace is always worth a visit. It is a complex of three individual castle buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, which are axially connected by a spacious garden. The area includes the old Schleißheim Palace, the neighboring Schleißheim New Palace and the Lustheim Palace located at the east end of the beautiful park. The building ensemble was built by the Bavarian electors as a summer residence, but the complex remained unfinished.
After the recommended visit and the walk through the park, you can fortify yourself in the nearby beautiful beer garden. This is currently being rebuilt (July 2020), but this does not disturb the operation (on weekends).
