The Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad is a building in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe. It is located in the spa park, right next to the famous casino and near the Elisabethenbrunnen fountain. Louis Jacobi built the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad between 1887 and 1890, which served as a therapy center. The former name of the current bath was Fürstenbad (Prince's Bath). Inside, there are spacious, high-ceilinged rooms decorated with precious tiles and mosaics. Some famous visitors to the Fürstenbad included Albert Edward (Prince of Wales), Bismarck (1890), and King Chulalongkorn. Regarding the latter, who underwent a diet there from August 15, 1907, to September 22, 1907, a report states: "...The celebration of the 54th birthday of the King of Siam took place in Bad Homburg on September 20th. The King had a healing spring, which will bear his name, surrounded by a magnificent pavilion. It will be a 'memory of a gracious and generous monarch.'" In front of the entrance to the Kaiser Wilhelm Baths stands a 3.50-meter-high bronze monument of Kaiser Wilhelm I. The base of the monument, which was inaugurated on September 10, 1905, in the presence of the imperial family and created by the artist Fritz Gerth, is made of Swedish red granite.
