At the foot of the Sirgensteinfelsen on the left side of the valley of the Ach you will find a cave with a wide overhanging entrance. Inside, a tube-like low corridor leads to a dome hall with two small ceiling openings that provide daylight. The cave is over 40 meters long. Due to her idiosyncratic form she conveys a special cave feeling to the visitor.

The cave and the sunny forecourt were used by the Neanderthal man and later also by the modern man.
