In 2000, the Working Group on Local Orchids (AHO) bought this area and started the maintenance work.
This area was particularly important to the founder of the "AHO Group Weserbergland" Mr. W. Mohrmann from Holzminden, he has cared for it with other members over the years.
The constant care resulted in a large number of plants that have become very rare and need to be protected.
The AHO members thank W. Mohrmann and will continue to look after and maintain the area in his spirit.
