It's possible but by not easy to get up on standard road tyres (I used 25mm). You have to pick your lines carefully through the corners as the large gravel seems to be quite loose. You are rewarded on the other side by a wonderful sinuous tarmacked descent on the other side (assuming your not tackling the Strada del'Assietta.
