The European Long-Distance Path E3 is part of the European long-distance hiking network and is intended to run from the Iberian Peninsula to the Black Sea. The Eisenach–Budapest International Friendship Mountain Trail (EB Trail for short) is a long-distance hiking trail that runs through Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. It is 2,690 kilometers long. The starting point of the mountain trail is Wartburg Castle in Eisenach. The section from Hohe Sonne to Neuhaus am Rennweg follows the Rennsteig Trail. The trail then continues through the Thuringian Slate Mountains, Vogtland, Ore Mountains, Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland, Lusatian Mountains, Ještěd Mountains, Jizera Mountains, Bóbrka-Katzbach Mountains, Křížské Snezka Mountains, Jested Mountains, Beskids, Mala Fatra, Mátra, and Bükk to Budapest.(Source: Wikipedia)
