The parking lot is under construction (2022). This is a popular spot to hitch into South Lake Tahoe. However, the hitch is not easy since the cars are driving pretty fast and are mostly driven by tourists who don’t know about the hikers. Uber and Lyft might be an option for approximately 40 Dollars.
