Rocamadour or Roc-Amadour is a town in France, in the Massif Central, department of Lot. The city is also a well-visited pilgrimage site. The city is built on a rock in the middle of the Causse de Gramat, a vast limestone plateau and part of the Causses du Quercy. On top of the rock is a castle.
