Very particular workers' village, born around a cotton mill at the behest of the owner, Napoleon Leumann, who wanted to combine entrepreneurship and charity. Still inhabited, the villas surrounded by greenery are a splendid sight. The plant is undergoing restoration (July 2022), and represents a beautiful example of industrial archeology. The village is limited to the north by the very busy Corso Francia, but can be reached comfortably from the south, where cycle paths and low-traffic roads allow easy and safe access. Certainly worth a visit.
