Tips
Today there is a railway museum on the site of the former Hermeskeil station, which shows a total of around 50 different steam, diesel and electric locomotives. Until the 1980s, the station was an important traffic junction for the Hochwaldbahn. Today it is a beautiful relic of that time on the Ruwer-Hochwald-Radweg, which runs along the old railway line.
