Not only nice to drive by, but also to take a deep breath and inhale the brine mist. It's best to plan for a quarter of an hour.

Six over one kilometer long graduation towers, water wheels, engine trenches and other facilities make the Salinen Valley on the way between the spa parks of Bad Kreuznach and Bad Münster am Stein an open-air museum of saltworks history. Nowhere have more graduation theaters been preserved than in Bad Kreuznach. The soothing salty air is omnipresent in the Health Park Salinental. In the spa park Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg there is another graduation mill with a length of 150 meters, while in the spa park Bad Kreuznach two smaller graduation works provide salty air.

Gorgeous cooling on hot days on the benches with moist, cool air.

The Salinental in Bad Kreuznach begins almost at the spa district and ends just before Bad Münster. The highlight is the rose island with its beautifully landscaped flower beds and quiet islands.
    Have fun and ride save!

Some of the salt works are still operated by hydroelectric power. Unfortunately, the facilities are getting worse, the concrete pools are giving up the ghost.
On most roads cyclists are separated from pedestrians, but you should keep your eyes open.
The Salinental also offers a whitewater training course where the largest canoe regatta in Germany (number of starts) is held on the last weekend in September.
In the bank shrubs and on the Nahe shore one can observe the otters.

Quiet times completely free to sniff salt water. In 2016, the same was bottled and sold for 60 €. What happened to it?
