The Murg estuary is definitely worth a stop. Regardless of whether the Murg is on the left or right. I like the left side better, but the path is not easy in places.

Road cycling

The Murg River ends here. Unfortunately, you can't really go any further with a racing bike, and not very far with a touring bike either. But it's beautiful here. And a day trip from the Murg's source along the river to this point is quite manageable.

There's a kiosk here for those who are hungry or thirsty.

Cycling

There the Murg kisses the Rhine and merges into it. Nice place with a view of the Rhine and also the inlet of the Sauer. To get there you drive past a beautiful floodplain forest. Gerda this place is not visited very often (cordoned off with barriers) and from this quiet place you can see the hustle and bustle of the campsite opposite.
