From Sechilienne, 15 km fairly regular at 6.7% average with a passage at 8%. Shaded throughout the climb, which is a pleasure!
The descent on the other side is less steep but the road is smooth with nice curves and a few hairpins.

On the 115 km long bike course of the Triathlon Alpe d'Huez, the Col de la Morte is the first of a total of 3 passes or climbs that are conquered. The second is the Col d'Ornon.
The first two passes reward you with descents for enjoyment and relaxation, but after the 21 ramps up to Alpe d'Huez there is no descent, but a half marathon at almost 2000 m altitude.

Less known port in the Alps but spectacular, with little traffic, with continuous slopes of 7 and 8%. Length 15 kms, between Grenoble and Bourg d'Oisans. From Grenoble complicated traffic.
