The mill was built in 1748 by the lord of Edenserloog Castle on a mound. In 2002, the mill, dating from 1748, was completely renovated. It received new wings and a new, copper-covered roof. The mill is now open as a museum and features a small collection of old household, barn, and farm equipment in the basement, which can be viewed. Tours of the mill, which lead to the miller's diploma, are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays (April-October).werdum.de/sehenswuerdigkeit/erdhollaender-muehle-werdum

The interior of the beautifully restored Dutch windmill can be visited free of charge. In the small bakery next door you can buy freshly baked bread from the stone oven.
