Romanesque monastery founded in 1030 in the old pre-Romanesque chapel of Els Gorgs, to which a bell tower was added during its reform. Between 1981 and 1977 the cloister was restored, recovering its original appearance, and in a second phase, between 2000 and 2002, the bell tower was restored. A third restoration between 2010 and 2011 protected the cloister with a new cover.

This small nucleus belonging to the municipality of Avinyonet del Penedès is mainly known for housing an old Benedictine monastery. It is a complex made up of a church with a single nave, with a chapel, bell tower and a cloister of great sculptural value.

Another outstanding construction is Cal Bou, a building from 1893 with a quadrangular plan with colorful glazed ceramic decorations and molding cornices that separate the floors.
