komoot gives different options (depending on where you are coming from) to go up to the Stäffelsberg tower. Not all are equally well suited; Some of the suggested paths (e.g. via Oberotterbach towards Dörrenbach) have been completely overgrown for years and can no longer be used.When the visibility is good, the tower itself offers a view in all directions - down to the Rhenish plain.

Uphill you should choose the widest route variant - and that is also steep ...
The tower with its 123 steps offers a great 360 degree view.

The Stäffelsberg tower is a 21 m high round concrete tower that was built in 1964 near the site of the old tower.
The first tower was built from sandstone in 1887 and blown up by the French military government in 1947.
