The climb that from Cagliano leads to San Genesio is rather steep (average gradient 11.5%) and measures 1.5 km in length. Beyond Cagliano, the road is still paved up to just above the characteristic little church of the Madonna del Sasso. The asphalt has recently been redone and is therefore in excellent condition. Subsequently, the bottom is dirt but very regular and not bumpy at all (thanks to the recent road improvement works). It is therefore ideal to ride even if you mount 32 mm tires on your gravel bike. At the top there are some parking lots, the hermitage and an inn where it is possible to have lunch and stop.

Beautiful climb, quite hard, asphalt and dirt road the last stretch. At the top there is a priceless view of Milan on one side and Lake Lecco on the other

Very nice and pedalable climb with never excessive slopes. First stretch paved the last in gravel for work in progress.
