On the summit of the Rehberg (577 m), built in 1862 from local Buntsandstein. The Rehberg is with 577 meters the highest peak in the German part of the Wasgau. The height, the proximity to the castle Trifels and its characteristic conical shape secure the Rehberg a place of honor among the Palatine peaks. The view from the tower is probably the most impressive of the whole Palatinate.

Great view of the castle Trifels, especially in Inversionswetterlage or fog, if only the castle looks out of the fog.
