Opening hours in January, February and March are Saturdays from 20 clock. In April Saturdays from 21h and in May, June, July, and August by appointment. Saturdays from 9pm on Saturdays and in October, November and December Saturdays from 8pm.

A detour up here is also worthwhile in late autumn (November). Attention! Fall foliage and the mossy steps can be very slippery on the path to the observatory!

In spring and summer the view is a bit overgrown, but still beautiful! Due to the forest relatively moist soil and therefore a lot of mosquitoes!
