Stop on the terrace of the Kreuzjochalm and enjoy the view.

We were more than impressed with this alpine hut. The food was incredibly delicious, the "snack platter for two" would definitely have been enough for three people, and we can only recommend the pressed dumpling soup and the Kaiserschmarrn. The hut and the grounds are elaborately and lovingly designed: a bench has been built over the stream flowing past, below the terrace, as a "knee cooler", as well as a small water play station. Next to the hut there is a play and swing set and various vehicles. The highlight of the small fleet for us mountain lovers were definitely the two "mountain" karts. There are also goats, pigs, chickens, cows and really cute donkeys on the alpine hut! The alpine hut is ideal for hikers, bikers and e-bikers; the latter will also find a charging station for their e-bikes right at the entrance. Cash payment only possible. We would come back anytime!
