The tumulus is located directly at the starting point of the dream path Pellender Seepfad. Here you can park and walk to the Laacher See.

The tumulus is a round grave made of tuff. It was built shortly after the birth of Christ. The tuff came from the Roman mine in Meurin.
The niche tomb with the three pillars is made of limestone.
Both graves were built according to Celtic custom.
