One of the most strenuous climbs in the Haard, but it is also rewarded with wonderful descents ....

The two runs that I know are a lot of fun: on one, as part of the circular route, you leave the fire watch tower on the left and turn right approx. 20 m later and follow the circular route signs. While it initially goes uphill gently, the downhill section begins up to a right, followed by a left-right chicane. In this part it is a bit more bumpy and leads further through deep sand, then left over a shallow knoll and then straight down to a main path.
At the second exit, leave the fire watch tower on the right and follow the narrow path straight down after approx. 50 m. There are some obstacles here and a hardtail might not be the best option because the rain has washed away the lanes. But be careful! Here, especially in good weather and on weekends, you can often meet hikers, because this path is actually marked as a hiking trail. So slow down and respect each other.
